Inspect these first — most-reported on this model

Power Train (184 owner reports)Drive through every gear: watch for slipping, hard or delayed shifts, and shudder. Check for transmission/driveline leaks and noises.
Service Brakes (109 owner reports)Brakes should feel firm and quiet — no grinding, pulsing or pulling. Check for an ABS light and uneven pad/rotor wear.
Electrical System (105 owner reports)Test every electrical feature: windows, locks, infotainment, charging and all lights. Watch for flickering, dead accessories or warning lights.
Air Bags (101 owner reports)Confirm the airbag light turns on then off at startup — if it stays lit there's a fault (costly, and a safety risk). Check for signs of prior deployment.
Exterior Lighting (73 owner reports)Confirm all headlights, brake lights, turn signals and reverse lights work, with no moisture inside the housings.
Steering (65 owner reports)Steering should be tight and centered — no play, clunks or wandering. Test at low and highway speed; listen for power-steering whine.
