Vehicle Speed Control (103 owner reports)Test cruise control and throttle response, and watch for any hesitation or unintended acceleration.
Engine And Engine Cooling (57 owner reports)Check coolant level and color, look for leaks, and confirm the engine reaches normal temperature without overheating.
Power Train (52 owner reports)Drive through every gear: watch for slipping, hard or delayed shifts, and shudder. Check for transmission/driveline leaks and noises.
Steering (35 owner reports)Steering should be tight and centered — no play, clunks or wandering. Test at low and highway speed; listen for power-steering whine.
Service Brakes (28 owner reports)Brakes should feel firm and quiet — no grinding, pulsing or pulling. Check for an ABS light and uneven pad/rotor wear.
Air Bags (27 owner reports)Confirm the airbag light turns on then off at startup — if it stays lit there's a fault (costly, and a safety risk). Check for signs of prior deployment.
