Inspect these first — most-reported on this model

Suspension (12 owner reports)Listen for clunks over bumps, check the car sits level, and look for uneven tire wear and worn shocks or struts.
Structure (7 owner reports)Inspect for rust, fresh undercoating, mismatched paint, uneven panel gaps and any sign of prior collision or frame repair.
Air Bags (6 owner reports)Confirm the airbag light turns on then off at startup — if it stays lit there's a fault (costly, and a safety risk). Check for signs of prior deployment.
Gasoline (5 owner reports)Have a trusted mechanic inspect this system as part of a pre-purchase inspection.
Engine And Engine Cooling (5 owner reports)Check coolant level and color, look for leaks, and confirm the engine reaches normal temperature without overheating.
Vehicle Speed Control (5 owner reports)Test cruise control and throttle response, and watch for any hesitation or unintended acceleration.
