Inspect these first — most-reported on this model

Air Bags (85 owner reports)Confirm the airbag light turns on then off at startup — if it stays lit there's a fault (costly, and a safety risk). Check for signs of prior deployment.
Engine And Engine Cooling (48 owner reports)Check coolant level and color, look for leaks, and confirm the engine reaches normal temperature without overheating.
Electrical System (40 owner reports)Test every electrical feature: windows, locks, infotainment, charging and all lights. Watch for flickering, dead accessories or warning lights.
Power Train (30 owner reports)Drive through every gear: watch for slipping, hard or delayed shifts, and shudder. Check for transmission/driveline leaks and noises.
Tires (27 owner reports)Check tread depth, the DOT age date, and that all four tires match with even wear. Look for bulges or cracks.
Vehicle Speed Control (19 owner reports)Test cruise control and throttle response, and watch for any hesitation or unintended acceleration.
