2006 BMW M3

VIN WBSBR93456PK12435

Inspect these first — most-reported on this model

Air Bags (110 owner reports)Confirm the airbag light turns on then off at startup — if it stays lit there's a fault (costly, and a safety risk). Check for signs of prior deployment.
Electrical System (32 owner reports)Test every electrical feature: windows, locks, infotainment, charging and all lights. Watch for flickering, dead accessories or warning lights.
Latches/locks/linkages (26 owner reports)Have a trusted mechanic inspect this system as part of a pre-purchase inspection.
Steering (24 owner reports)Steering should be tight and centered — no play, clunks or wandering. Test at low and highway speed; listen for power-steering whine.
Tires (15 owner reports)Check tread depth, the DOT age date, and that all four tires match with even wear. Look for bulges or cracks.
Seat Belts (12 owner reports)Check that every belt latches, retracts and locks under a sharp tug, and that none are frayed.
