Remedy: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel line with one that does not have a damper, free of charge. The safety recall began on February 25, 2014. The brakes on my 2013 Ford Edge failed with no notice. Luckily I was able to coast into a parking lot to get stopped. Even pushing the brake pedal to the floor will not stop the car.
