By using carlogs.xyz ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. What we provide

CarLogs provides vehicle information by VIN — including vehicle specifications, open safety recalls, and (where purchased) history records such as title, salvage, mileage, and related data sourced from third parties. We provide information about the vehicle only and never the personal identity of its owner.

2. Information accuracy

Reports are compiled from government and third-party data sources and are provided "as is" for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee that any report is complete, accurate, or up to date, and a report is not a substitute for an independent inspection or professional advice. You rely on the information at your own risk.

3. Purchases & refunds

Paid reports are delivered electronically and become available immediately upon successful payment via Stripe. Because reports are digital and delivered instantly, all sales are generally final; if a report fails to generate due to a technical error on our side, contact us at hi@carlogs.xyz and we will make it right.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us of any unauthorized use.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service unlawfully, to attempt to obtain a vehicle owner's identity, to scrape or resell our data, or to disrupt the Service. We reserve the right to suspend access for misuse.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarLogs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on a report. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant report.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
