About the Ford Focus

The Ford Focus is a compact car manufactured by Ford from 1998 until 2025. It was created under Alexander Trotman's Ford 2000 plan, which aimed to globalize model development and sell one compact vehicle worldwide. The original Focus was primarily designed by Ford of Europe's German and British teams. Production of the fourth generation Focus began in 2018 in Germany and China. In 2025, Ford announced that the Focus would no longer be built, in line with an announcement made in 2022.

What is a fair price for a 2003 Ford Focus?

Comparable 2003 Ford Focus listings run roughly $600–$2,990, typically around $1,631 (from 126 comparable vehicles). The full report shows this exact VIN's valuation.

What is the 2003 Ford Focus safety rating?

NHTSA gives the 2003 Ford Focus crash-test ratings of frontal 5★, side 3★ (out of 5; this model year pre-dates NHTSA's overall score).

What fuel economy does the 2003 Ford Focus get?

The 2003 Ford Focus has U.S. EPA estimates of 20–27 mpg combined, depending on engine and trim (7 versions).
