Seats And Restraints

On certain vehicles, the platic front seatbelt release buttons may break allowing plastic pieces to fall into the buckle assembly. If this should happen, a no latch, false latch or failure to unlatch condition could occur creating the risk of personal injury in the event of a crash or sudden stop. Correction: Front seatbelt buckles will be repaired or replaced as necessary.

NHTSA lists 8 recall campaigns for the 1991 Honda Civic model year. That covers the model year, not this individual car: to see whether a specific vehicle still needs a recall repair, check its VIN on NHTSA.gov or ask a franchised dealer. Recall repairs are free.

What is the 1991 Honda Civic safety rating?

NHTSA gives the 1991 Honda Civic crash-test ratings of frontal 3★ (out of 5; this model year pre-dates NHTSA's overall score).

What fuel economy does the 1991 Honda Civic get?

The 1991 Honda Civic has U.S. EPA estimates of 23–30 mpg combined, depending on engine and trim (5 versions).
