🔥 1 involved a fire

Air Bags 9 reports

🔍 Confirm the airbag light turns on then off at startup — if it stays lit there's a fault (costly, and a safety risk). Check for signs of prior deployment.

Vehicle Speed Control 5 reports

🔍 Test cruise control and throttle response, and watch for any hesitation or unintended acceleration.

Service Brakes 4 reports

🔍 Brakes should feel firm and quiet — no grinding, pulsing or pulling. Check for an ABS light and uneven pad/rotor wear.

Structure 3 reports

🔍 Inspect for rust, fresh undercoating, mismatched paint, uneven panel gaps and any sign of prior collision or frame repair.

Steering 3 reports

🔍 Steering should be tight and centered — no play, clunks or wandering. Test at low and highway speed; listen for power-steering whine.

Engine 3 reports

🔍 Listen for knocks or ticking, check for leaks and blue/white exhaust smoke, and make sure it doesn't overheat. No check-engine light should be on.

WD3PE7DD8GP283765 is a structurally valid 17-character VIN with a correct ISO 3779 check digit, assigned to a manufacturer in Germany. It decodes to the 2016 Mercedes-benz Sprinter 2500.

Are there safety recalls on the 2016 Mercedes-benz Sprinter 2500?

NHTSA lists 15 recall campaigns for the 2016 Mercedes-benz Sprinter 2500 model year. That covers the model year, not this individual car: to see whether a specific vehicle still needs a recall repair, check its VIN on NHTSA.gov or ask a franchised dealer. Recall repairs are done at no charge.
