As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Controls and Displays."

Remedy: Owners are advised to only operate the HVAC front blower in manual (not automatic) mode whenever the engine is on.
