What's wrong

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTORCYCLES. THE INNER TUBE BEING USED ON THE FRONT TIRE WAS UNDER-SIZED.

The risk

THIS CONDITION CAN CAUSE POSSIBLE DEFLATION OF THE TUBE, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

The fix

DEALERS WILL REPLACE EXISTING INNER FRONT TIRE TUBE WITH A LARGER TUBE.

OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN SEPTEMBER 14, 2000. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT INDIAN MOTORCYCLE AT 1-408-847-2221.ALSO CONTACT THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION'S AUTO SAFETY HOTLINE AT 1-888-DASH-2-DOT (1-888-327-4236).
