What's wrong

ON CERTAIN SINGLE AXLE BRUSH CHIPPER TRAILERS, FATIGUE AND CRACKS CAN OCCUR IN THE TONGUE WELDMENT.

The risk

TONGUE FAILURE CAN OCCUR RESULTING IN SEPARATION FROM THE TOWED VEHICLE WHICH CAN INCREASE THE RISK OF A CRASH.

The fix

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE TONGUE FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL IS BEGAN MARCH 7, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT VERMEER AT 641-628-3141.
