Suspension — Ferrari · reported 25 Apr 2005 · 201 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
ON CERTAIN VEHICLES, IN EXTREME CONDITIONS OF USE, THE FORKS FASTENING THE FRONT AND REAR LOWER SUSPENSION LEVERS TO THE CHASSIS CAN BREAK OR CRACK. THIS COULD LEAD TO INCREASED STRESS ON THE THREADED PINS' ANCHORAGE AREAS WHICH COULD ALSO CAUSE THE POSSIBLE BREAKAGE OF THE FORKS.
The risk
THIS COULD LEAD TO A LOSS OF A VEHICLE CONTROL AND COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.
The fix
DEALERS WILL INSTALL NEW FRONT AND REAR LOWER SUSPENSION FORKS FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN MAY 19, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT FERRARI AT 201-816-2600.

Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
