Recall 05V360000
Electrical System › Wiring › Fuses And Circuit Breakers — Country Coach · reported 16 Aug 2005 · 6 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES, THE USE OF A 20 AMP CIRCUIT BREAKER IN THE 120V AC PANEL FOR AUDIO/VIDEO EQUIPMENT DOES NOT PROTECT THE CIRCUIT AGAINST COMPONENT FAILURES. THE CIRCUIT IS ONLY RATED FOR A 15 AMP CIRCUIT BREAKER.
The risk
THE 20 AMP CIRCUIT BREAKER USED ON THE AUDIO/VIDEO CIRCUIT EXCEEDED THE LOAD CAPACITY OF THE WIRE. THIS COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.
The fix
DEALERS WILL REMOVE THE 20 AMP CIRCUIT BREAKER, AND INSTALL A 15 AMP CIRCUIT BREAKER. THE RECALL BEGAN ON AUGUST 29, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT COUNTRY COACH AT 800-547-8015.

Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
