What's wrong

CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES BUILT ON CHEVROLET C3500 (EXPRESS) CUTAWAY CHASSIS HAVE A TOWING PIGTAIL THAT WILL NOT SHOW BRAKE LIGHTS ON THE TOWED VEHICLE IF HOOKED TO THE TOWING PIGTAIL.

The risk

THIS CONDITION COULD RESULT IN A CRASH, INJURY OR DEATH.

The fix

DEALERS WILL REWIRE THE TOWING PIGTAIL WIRES TO INCLUDE THE BRAKE LIGHT CIRCUIT FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 31, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT JAYCO AT 1-800-283-8267.
