What's wrong

ON CERTAIN MULTIPLEX MOTOR COACHES, THE WIPER MOTOR THERMAL PROTECTION IS STOPPING THE MOTOR WHEN THE WIPERS ARE FUNCTIONING FOR A LONG TIME IN SECOND SPEED.

The risk

DEPENDING ON THE OCCURRENCE AND WEATHER SITUATION, DRIVER VISIBILITY COULD BE REDUCED, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.

The fix

DEALERS WILL INSTALL A NEW WIPER HARNESS AND A NEW MULTIPLEX PROGRAM WILL BE DOWNLOADED IN ALL COACHES. THE RECALL BEGAN ON NOVEMBER 23, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT PREVOST AT 1-418-831-2046.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
