What's wrong
ON CERTAIN TRAVEL TRAILERS, THE OUTLET MOUNTED A THE END OF THE KITCHEN COUNTER TOP DOES NOT MEET NFPA 70 NATIONAL ELECTRIC CODE ARTICLE 5511V NOMINAL 120 VOLT OR 120/240-VOLT SYSTEMS 551.41 (C) GROUND -FAULT CIRCUIT-INTERRUPTER PROTECTION.
The risk
THIS COULD CAUSE AN ELECTRICAL SHORT, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.
The fix
DEALERS WILL REWIRE TO A GROUND-FAULT CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER CIRCUIT FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON AUGUST 24, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT JAYCO AT 1-800-283-8267.
