What's wrong

ON CERTAIN TRAILERS EQUIPPED WITH ACCURIDE ALUMINUM WHEELS, THE WHEELS MAY NOT HAVE BEEN PROPERLY PRE-STRESSED AND MAY EXPERIENCE PREMATURE CRACKING ON THE DISC FACE THAT COULD RESULT IN FAILURE.

The risk

SHOULD THE WHEEL FAIL WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN USE, A VEHICLE CRASH COULD OCCUR, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN INJURY OR DEATH.

The fix

WABASH IS WORKING WITH ACCURIDE TO INSPECT THESE TRAILERS AND REPLACE THE WHEELS IF NECESSARY. OWNERS MAY CONTACT ACCURIDE AT 1-800-869-2275 OR WABASH AT 765-771-5563.
