Seat Belts — Think · reported 19 Jan 2011 · 16 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
THINK NORTH AMERICA IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011 THINK CITY VEHICLES FOR FAILING TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 208, "OCCUPANT CRASH PROTECTION." THE SEAT BELTS MAY HAVE BEEN INCORRECTLY INSTALLED. AS A RESULT, A CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM USED IN THE PASSENGER SEATING POSITION MAY NOT BE POSITIONED OR RETAINED PROPERLY.
The risk
THE SEAT BELT MAY NOT RESTRAIN THE CHILD AS INTENDED DURING NORMAL VEHICLE OPERATION OR DURING A CRASH, INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURY.
The fix
DEALER WILL INSPECT, REINSTALL OR, IF NEEDED, REPLACE THE VEHICLE'S SEAT BELTS. THIS SERVICE WILL BE PERFORMED FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING FEBRUARY 2011. THINK'S AUTHORIZED TOLL FREE SERVICE LINE AT 855-698-4465.

Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
