What's wrong

TEREX IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2008-2010 AERIAL DEVICE AND DIGGER DERRICK UTILITY VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM JUNE, 2008 THROUGH NOVEMBER, 2010. THE LANYARD ANCHORS WERE NOT HEAT TREATED PROPERLY AND MAY FRACTURE.

The risk

FAILURE OF THE LANYARD ANCHOR COULD OCCUR INCREASING THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURIES OR DEATH.

The fix

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE LANYARD ANCHORS WITH A NEW PART FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON FEBRUARY 11, 2011. OWNERS MAY CONTACT TEREX AT 1-605-884-3892.
