Recall 14V768000

Exterior Lighting › Headlights — Temsa · reported 3 Dec 2014 · 38 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Temsa Global Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S.(Temsa) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 TS45 motorcoaches manufactured April 1, 2014, to November 30, 2014. Due to a headlamp control module malfunction, the headlamps and daytime running lamps may fail while driving.

The risk

If the headlamps and daytime running lamps fail while driving, there would be a loss of visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Temsa will notify owners, and CH Bus Sales dealers will remove the affected headlamp control module and update the buses software, free of charge. The recall began on December 9, 2014. Owners may contact CH Bus Sales, representatives of Temsa, at 1-407-271-8935.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
