Recall 15V075000 · manufacturer campaign CR1300

Structure › Body › Door — Nova Bus · reported 9 Feb 2015 · 17 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Nova Bus (Nova) is recalling certain model year 2006-2007 LFS transit buses manufactured January 1, 2006, to December 31, 2007. In the affected vehicles, the rear exit door controls may not function properly.

The risk

If the rear exit door does not open and close as expected, there is an increased risk of injury to bus occupants.

The fix

Nova notified owners, and dealers corrected the exit door control programming, free of charge. Owners may contact Nova customer service at 1-450-472-6410. Nova's number for this recall is CR1300.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
