Recall 15V347000 · manufacturer campaign SR15-29

Suspension › Front — Prevost · reported 5 Jun 2015 · 10 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Prevost Cars, Inc. (Prevost) is recalling certain model year 2015 X3-45, and H3-45 coaches manufactured October 1, 2014, to April 30, 2015. Bolts in the front suspensions of the affected coaches may fail due to a problem with the bolt manufacturing process.

The risk

Suspension bolt failure may cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.

The fix

Prevost will notify owners, and dealers will replace the affected bolts, free of charge. The recall began on July 16, 2015. Owners may contact Prevost customer service at 1-800-463-7738. Prevost's number for this recall is SR15-29.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
