Electrical System › Wiring — Triple E · reported 18 Sep 2015 · 13 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Triple E Recreational Vehicles (Triple E) is recalling certain model year 2016 Libero L24CB and Serenity S24CB recreational vehicles manufactured July 17, 2015, to September 9, 2015. In the affected vehicles, there is the possibility of an electrical shock when the window valance on the driver side rear of the vehicle is removed; the screw may become electrically charged.

The risk

The possibility of an electrical shock increases the risk of injury.

The fix

Triple E will notify owners, and dealers will reroute the wiring to the overhead cabinet near where the valance is to be installed, free of charge. The recall began on November 5, 2015. Owners may contact Triple E customer service at 1-877-992-9906. Triple E's number for this recall is CA#8135-1.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
