Recall 15V635000

Suspension › Front — Tiffin · reported 8 Oct 2015 · 298 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Breeze motorhomes manufactured September 5, 2013, to September 30, 2015. The affected assemblies may have loose ball joints which could separate causing a loss of steering control.

The risk

A loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash.

The fix

Tiffin will notify owners, and dealers will correct the ball joint installation, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on October 30, 2015. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
