Recall 16V062000 · manufacturer campaign 37-01152016-0131
Electrical System › Wiring — Forest River · reported 3 Feb 2016 · 12 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain model year 2016 Surveyor recreational vehicles, model SVF275BHSS, manufactured from November 4, 2015, through November 11, 2015. In the affected vehicles, the general circuit receptacle may be incorrectly wired, and as a result, too much current may travel through the receptacle.
The risk
Too much electrical current can cause an electrical arc, and potentially electrocute the user.
The fix
Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will repair any wiring, breakers, and other items, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on February 19, 2016. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-642-3119 extension 205. Forest River's number for this recall is 37-01152016-0131.

Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
