Recall 16V089000 · manufacturer campaign 16-247

Equipment › Recreational Vehicle/trailer — Keystone · reported 17 Feb 2016 · 107 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain model year 2016 Sprinter vehicles manufactured July 28, 2015, to November 19, 2015, and equipped with a Haier television, model 55E2500, mounted to the wall. These televisions may break off of the wall mounting inside the vehicle.

The risk

If the television falls while people are in the vehicle, there would be an increased risk of injury.

The fix

Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will replace the television, free of charge. The recall began February 23, 2016. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 16-247.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
