Recall 16V221000
Suspension › Rear › Axle › Non-powered Axle Assembly — White Water · reported 18 Apr 2016 · 101 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
Riverside RV (Riverside) is recalling certain model year 2015 White Water Retro travel trailers, model 176S, manufactured September 1, 2015, to February 1, 2016. The axle on the affected trailers may be too narrow, and as a result, the tires may rub, causing tire failure.
The risk
Tire failure increases the risk of a crash.
The fix
Riverside will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the axle, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on May 11, 2016. Owners may contact Riverside customer service at 1-260-499-4578.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.
Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
