Recall 16V522000
Parking Brake — Manac · reported 11 Jul 2016 · 2 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
MANAC Trailers USA, Inc. (MANAC) is recalling certain 2016 Flatbed trailers, model 10850B069, manufactured October 1, 2014, to October 31, 2014. These trailers are equipped with certain Bendix SR5 spring brake valves which may have been improperly machined which could cause a delay of application of the spring brakes while parking.
The risk
If there is a delay of the spring brake application, the trailer may roll away after it has decoupled from the tractor, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
The fix
MANAC will contact owners and provide a remedy kit, complete with instructions, to repair any affected SR-5 trailer relay valves, free of charge. . The recall began on September 2, 2016. Owners may contact MANAC customer service at 1-573-262-2166.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
