Recall 16V852000 · manufacturer campaign ACX-1605

Hybrid Propulsion System — Autocar · reported 28 Nov 2016 · 107 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain model year 2012-2016 Xpeditor vehicles manufactured September 6, 2011, to October 1, 2015. The affected vehicles have hybrid power drive unit cradle mounting bolts that may not have been properly tightened.

The risk

Improperly torqued mounting bolts may loosen and the power drive unit and drive shaft could detach, becoming a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

The remedy for this recall is still under development. The recall began January 13, 2017. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-765-489-5499. Autocar's number is ACX-1605.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
