Recall 17V470000
Tires — Temsa · reported 24 Jul 2017 · 184 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
Temsa Global Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S. (Temsa) is recalling certain 2014-2018 TS45 motorcoaches. During use or while servicing, the air bellow protection cover may be bent, allowing it to contact and potentially damage the tires on the tag axle.
The risk
The contact may cause a tire to go flat, affecting vehicle handling and increasing the risk of crash.
The fix
Temsa will notify owners, and dealers will replace the air bellow cover with a newly designed cover, free of charge. The recall began on September 12, 2017. Owners may contact CH Bus Sales, the US Agent for Temsa at 1-407-271-8935.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.
Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
