Recall 18V175000 · manufacturer campaign CB#216-2018

Electrical System › Software — Pagani · reported 15 Mar 2018 · 16 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Pagani Automobili SpA (Pagani) is recalling all 2017 Huayra Coupe BC and Huayra Roadster vehicles. The battery management software may prevent the battery from providing enough power to start the car or keep the car running at idle.

The risk

An engine stall can increase the risk of a crash.

The fix

Pagani will notify owners, and dealers will replace the battery with a new one that has new battery management software, free of charge. The recall began on April 5, 2018. Owners may contact Pagani customer service at 1-415-350-7220.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
