Recall 18V246000

Equipment — Riverside · reported 18 Apr 2018 · 2,000 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Riverside RV (Riverside) is recalling various 2015-2017 White Water, Water Fall, and Mt. McKinley motorhomes equipped with certain Plastic-Handle Fire Extinguishers or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or requiring excessive force to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. The risk

In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
