What's wrong
Multiquip, Inc. (Multiquip) is recalling certain 2018 Multiquip TRLR45H and TRLR70USH trailers. The center-mounted trailer jack may unexpectedly collapse from damage caused by excessive load on the trailer.
The risk
If the center-mounted jack unexpectedly collapses, there would be an increased risk of injury.
The fix
Multiquip has notified Herc rentals, the company that owns all of the affected trailers, and will install additional gussets to the jack crossmember, free of charge. The recall began on March 23, 2018. Owners may contact Multiquip customer service at 1-800-421-1244. Multiquip's number for this recall is TL 20180306.

Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
