What's wrong

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) 2012-2013 Winnebago Era, View, and Via motorhomes and Itasca Navion and Reyo motorhomes. The high pressure liquid propane hoses may harden at the crimp fitting, possibly resulting in a propane leak.

The risk

A propane leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

The fix

Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the propane hose, replacing it as necessary, free of charge. The recall began September 17, 2018. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 151.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
