Equipment › Recreational Vehicle/trailer › Lpg Systems › Water Heater — Crossroads · reported 31 Oct 2018 · 7 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2019 Crossroads Cruiser recreational trailers with the water heater installed under the slide out. The exhaust location for the water heater may result in carbon monoxide or propane gas entering the living quarters.

The risk

If carbon monoxide or propane gas enters the living quarters, it can increase the risk of injury.

The fix

The affected vehicles are still in dealer inventory and Keystone will relocate the water heater, free of charge. Owner letters will not be sent. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 18-335.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
