What's wrong

Arcimoto, Inc (Arcimoto) is recalling certain 2017-2018 FUV motorcycles. Over time, increased resistance at the battery connection may result in the Battery Management System unexpectedly shutting down propulsion power.

The risk

A sudden loss of propulsion power may increase the risk of a crash.

The fix

Arcimoto has notified all affected owners and the motorcycles are within the manufacturer's control. Arcimoto will replace the vehicles, free of charge. Owners may contact Arcimoto customer service at 1-541-683-6293. Arcimoto's number for this recall is 7F7-A3Z5C-12.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
