Recall 19V921000
Equipment — Atc · reported 23 Dec 2019 · 232 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC) is recalling certain 2016-2019 Quest Stacker trailers. The guide block may fail causing the car lift to drop into the tilt position.
The risk
While in tilt position, lift may become unseated from the ladder causing front end of lift to fall, increasing the risk of injury.
The fix
ATC will notify owners and dealers will replace the existing guide blocks with an improved guide block made from Nylatron, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin February 10, 2020. Owners may contact ATC customer service at 1-877-441-2440, extension 342.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.NHTSA is missing critical, required information for this safety recall. Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
