Recall 20V041000 · manufacturer campaign 73-1131

What's wrong
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2020 Vengeance VGF311A13-WS-73 trailers. The Federal Placard has the incorrect axle rating, tire/wheel size, and tire PSI. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and rims-other than passenger cars" and Part 567, "Certification."
The risk
The incorrect Federal Placard may result in the operator unknowingly overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a loss of control, and the risk of a crash.
The fix
Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will provide replacement placards that contain the accurate information, free of charge. The recall began January 30, 2020. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-260-499-2100. Forest River's number for this recall is 73-1131.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.
Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
