Recall 20V614000 · manufacturer campaign 73

Visibility — Ferrari · reported 6 Oct 2020 · 1,063 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Ferrari North America, Inc. (Ferrari) is recalling certain 2018-2020 812 Superfast vehicles. The rear window on these vehicles may have been bonded incorrectly, which may lead to decreased, long-term adhesion.

The risk

The rear window could fully detach from the vehicle, creating a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Ferrari will notify owners, and dealers will replace the rear window, free of charge. Ferrari issued owners an interim notification on December 5, 2020. Owners may contact Ferrari customer service at 1-201-816-2668. Ferrari's number for this recall is 73.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
