Equipment › Appliance › Microwave/vent Hood — Kzrv · reported 15 Jan 2021 · 806 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

KZRV, L.P. (KZRV) is recalling certain 2021 Sportsmen Classic, Escape, and Sonic recreational trailers. The microwave circuits were improperly connected to a 20amp circuit breaker instead of a 15amp circuit breaker.

The risk

Being connected to the wrong amperage circuit breaker may not provide adequate circuit protection, increasing the risk of a fire.

The fix

KZRV will notify owners, and dealers will replace the 20 amp circuit breaker with a 15 amp circuit breaker, free of charge. The recall began February 22, 2021. Owners may contact KZRV customer service at 1-800-768-4016, extension 154 or 153. KZRV's number for this recall is KZ-2021-01.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.
