What's wrong
Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2013-2021 Micro Bird G5 school buses with electrical wiring, routed behind the driver's seat, that may have been damaged during rivet installation.
The risk
If the electric cabling is damaged, certain safety accessories or lamps may stop working, or a short-circuit may occur, increasing the risk of a fire.

Micro Bird will notify owners and dealers will provide field modification instructions, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin March 22, 2021. Owners may contact Micro Bird customer service at 1-819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 21-086-WUC.

Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
