Recall 21V247000 · manufacturer campaign 21-404
Latches/locks/linkages › Doors › Latch — Dutchmen · reported 8 Apr 2021 · 110 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling 2020-2021 Dutchmen Aspen Trail 2760THS, 3250THS, and 3251THS trailers. The ramp door fasteners may be installed improperly causing them to strip.
The risk
The stripped fasteners can pull out of the frame, detaching the rear door and increasing the risk of injury.
The fix
Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the hinge fasteners and add nuts with a lock washer, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed no April 30, 2021. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 21-404.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.
Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
