Recall 21V334000

Fuel System, Diesel › Fuel Injection System › Fuel Rail — Rosenbauer · reported 11 May 2021 · 697 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Rosenbauer America (Rosenbauer) is recalling certain 2016-2021 Commander, Warrior, Avenger, and 2019 Commercial M2 106 vehicles. The sealing washer may not seat correctly in the pilot bore holes, allowing the high pressure fuel rail assembly to leak.

The risk

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

The fix

Dealers will inspect and replace the rail as necessary, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters were mailed on July 9, 2021. Owners may contact Rosenbauer customer service at 1-651-462-1000.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
