Recall 21V433000

Equipment › Appliance › Oven/stove/cooktop — Coach House · reported 7 Jun 2021 · 9 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Coach House, Inc. (Coach House) is recalling certain 2021 Platinum vehicles equipped with Dometic 3-burner cooking stoves. The saddle valve securing bolt may be overtightened, possibly damaging the o-ring seal and causing a continuous gas leak.

The risk

A gas leak can increase the risk of a fire.

The fix

Coach House will notify owners, and Dometic service centers will install a remedy kit of gaskets, washers, thread locker bolts, and two round orange labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 15, 2021. Owners may contact Coach House customer service at 1-800-235-0984.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
