Suspension › Front › Springs › Leaf Spring Assembly › Shackle — Mitsubishi Fuso · reported 29 Jul 2021 · 952 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Fuso FEC9T gas trucks. The front leaf spring rear-lower shackle bolts may be loose.

The risk

Loose bolts can detach and become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will inspect and tighten the bolts, and replace any damaged shackles as necessary, free of charge. Owners may contact MFTA customer service at 1-877-711-0707.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
