Recall 21V726000

Service Brakes, Hydraulic › Foundation Components › Disc › Rotor — Drv · reported 17 Sep 2021 · 77 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

DRV Suites (DRV) is recalling certain 2021 Mobile Suites fifth wheel trailers. The brake rotor bolts were improperly tightened, which can cause the bolts to become loose or fall off.

The risk

Loose or detached bolts can cause wheel separation, a tire blowout, or brake failure, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will inspect and tighten the bolts, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 28, 2021. Owners may contact DRV customer service at 1-260-562-3500.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
