What's wrong

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022 Coachmen Catalina travel trailers. The panel that separates the furnace from the cooktop was not sealed, which could result in an inverted cooktop flame.

The risk

An inverted flame can increase the risk of a fire.

The fix

Dealers will seal the furnace from the cooktop, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 1, 2021. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-825-8657. Forest River's number for this recall is 203-1434.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
