Recall 21V857000 · manufacturer campaign RT-0001
Tires — Ranger Trail · reported 4 Nov 2021 · 380 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
Tracker Marine, LLC (Tracker) is recalling certain 2022 Ranger Trail T22RT178, T22RT178B, T22RT188, T22RT188B, T22RT188P, T22RT188PB, T22RT198P, T22RT198PB, T22VS1665, T22VS1682, T22VS1782, and T22VS1782B trailers. The fenders may be improperly spaced, allowing the tires to contact the fenders.
The risk
Tire contact with the fenders could cause the tires to wear prematurely, resulting in tire failure and increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Dealers will inspect and correct the fender spacing as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on November 12, 2021. Owners may contact Tracker customer service at 1-417-873-4555. Tracker's number for this recall is RT-0001.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.
Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
